About Me

Dr. Swami Sundaresan is a board-certified dermatologist returning to Dallas after a 2.5-year stint in Boston.

A native of Fort Worth and the son of Indian immigrants, he attended Texas Christian University for his undergraduate studies and completed his medical training in Houston and Galveston. Dr. Sundaresan is dedicated to evidence-based medicine, ensuring effective and safe treatments for all his patients. He values building personal connections with his patients, addressing their individual needs, questions, and concerns.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Sundaresan enjoys spending time with his wife, who is completing her psychiatry fellowship at UTSW. They are proud parents to their goldendoodle puppy, Zara, and their 2-month-old baby, Yashoda. A passionate chess player since the age of eight, he continues to seek out local chess clubs in Dallas. Dr. Sundaresan stays active through weightlifting, racquetball, and pick-up basketball. He is an avid sports fan, cheering on the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Cowboys.

Above all, Dr. Sundaresan prioritizes patient care, guided by the advice of a mentor: “The patient is at the center of our universe.”
